There is something so beautiful about the night,
That an early bird might never understand..
The night is silent, the night is peaceful,
The night is often like a dream and seldom a fright.
Night is like a beautiful silhouette,
When dreams unfold,
And come to life…
When your true creativity comes to light.
When all is quiet and peaceful,
And you have all the the time to think and ponder,
Free from all the daily stress,
The night time is indeed beautiful.
When all are asleep,
And you have all the time to yourself,
To do what you want,
To let your creativity leap.
Night time is indeed the best time of the day,
When others are fast asleep and you’re fully awake,
To enjoy the silence and tranquility,
And to keep all the stress away.
Growing up in a tiny home, I always loved to stay up late into the night. It was time with myself with so much more space and focus. Beautiful poem.

You took me back to some unforgettable days. Once upon a time I used to, in the last week of December especially, sit on the laptop, and download all the best Hollywood movies of the year, and watch them all through the night. In between the breaks of tea, and a poem or two would keep me fresh. I have felt so close to myself then in those nights. If only there were no lingering headaches the whole of next day, I would gladly work at nights. You’re lucky if you remain fresh the next mornig. For nights indeed are awesome. I miss them. ššš

Am so glad to know that my poem made you nostalgic of the times when you too were an owl like me šš
I guess I am so used to being awake at night that early mornings (or even the thought of it) give me more of a headache š¤£

This rhymes so well. I have a comfy couch which I hit inadvertantly at the end of my day (or night), and catch up on the news papers for at least an hour, long after the others have meandered into Dreamland. The stillness of a deep night, when the world has gone to sleep is something only a night owl will understand š
