Raindrops…

Raindrops keep falling on my head,
Like little drops of heaven..
No need to run to the nearby shed,
Just get drenched and soak it all in..

When it rains, the plants smile,
The animals rejoice..
The little streams picks up speed to cover an extra mile,
Through the thunders, you can almost hear the Almighty’s voice.

He knows how badly the Earth needs this shower to heal and replenish,
It’s his way of showing who is in control,
Although, HE lets Man think otherwise so that the fool can flourish,
Oblivious to the power play, enjoying the rain, fulfills my soul. πŸ’“πŸŒ§οΈβ˜”

    1. Don’t know why, but that’s always the first song I think of when I see it’s raining. πŸ€—πŸ€— As children it used to be so much fun getting soaked in rain. Now we are too careful and don’t indulge like we should.

    1. Oh absolutely. It’s therapeutic just to stare outside the window and see the rainfall. Add a hot cup of coffee and it just doesn’t get better than that. Thanks for you appreciation πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—

  1. Beautiful poem…
till a few years back, I used to stroll out into the rain like when we were little…and the very faces of grown-ups would tell me I was no longer supposed to be like that. I pity adults… more so ’cause I am one of them now…
    you bring back the feeling..

    1. Thank you for liking it. πŸ€—πŸ€—And Yes, I know exactly what you are saying. Why is it that adults have to always be adults and can’t indulge in some innocent fun? Well who cares what anyone says. If you want to enjoy the rains and relive your childhood then so you must. Don’t let anyone stop you πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘
